This Polka Dot Plant (Hypoestes Phyllostachya) grows in in a pretty little pot my Mother gave me. She doesn't remember where she got the little pot, but she's had it for years. The actual pot has two pretty loop handles on the sides, which I was reluctant to attempt to paint. Since the pot is so small (about 6 inches tall and with a 4-inch diameter), I rest it on a small cloth-covered pedestal atop a side table in full sun and in full view of my reading chair.
