I sat in the rainroom (previously named the "sunroom" - before the windows began leaking so that massive mopping up is required each time a storm blows through.) As I relaxed to the sound of the rain beating down on the roof, I became aware of another persistent tune. Birds were chirping! Yes, birds chirp, not only when the sun is shining and warm breezes blow; birds chirp in the rain as well. There's beauty in every facet of nature; all God's beautiful creation merits our lifting our voices in praise and happiness. The child in today's painting is taking advantage of the beauty of the rain.
