My Family by JED

The following essay was written this morning by our first grade Gson, JED. He dictated; I typed; then he read the completed post to me.

My family has lots of fun together. We like riding to our Gram and Granddaddy's house. It's lots of fun to see our cousins. I have lots of fun at my Gram and Granddaddy's house. I play with my cousins while I am here with them. We play soccer because I'm stilllearning how to play; sometimes we play football or baseball. Sometimes we play lots of
games with each other. Sometimes we walk to Grandmother's house and have
some stuff to eat. It's lots of fun going to my Gram and Granddaddy's house.

I'm not going to school because I'm sick. I have been coughing during the night. My favorite subject in school is math. I like it because you learn adding and subtracting. I am best at math. I have lots of fun when I have math for a special.
