Whatever

Most of us bloggers believe ourselves to be thinkers. The Bible has a few words to say about how we should think. A few weeks ago Norma at Collecting my Thoughts offered some good blogging advice taken directly from the Bible. In quoting this same advice, I am taking the liberty of substituting the word "blog" for the word "think" to apply the idea to us thinker-bloggers.

Philippians 4:8 says: "Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, blog on these things." the next verse continues and tells us that "the God of peace will be with you."

Although we are not visiting Philippi on this trip, and Paul wrote these words to the church there, I thought it appropriate to tuck this post in here since the reference is to the writings of the Apostle Paul whose last journey we are recreating.
