We will dock early this morning in Naples. You can take a virtual tour of Naples here. Going ashore, we will travel to ancient Pompeii and see the ruins left when Mr. Vesuvious erupted in 79 AD. This city embodies an amazing piece of history - a city buried for almost 1500 years. It is still being excavated.

(A little aside: my chiropractor's office manager told me just before we left home that she would also be in Rome and at Pompeii on the 13th or 14th. Wouldn't that be something if we saw her so far away from home?! Not likely I know, but possible.)
