My annual gynocology exam and mammogram were today. For you male readers, suffice it to say, this is NOT a red-letter day in the life of a woman. This day is NOT decorated with hearts and flowers on our calendars. And (as a bonus) not only did I get to have my pelvic exam and my boob-flattening done, I also got to drive 40 miles each way in pouring rain on urban interstate highways, dodging the mini-tsunamis thrown on my car by passing 18-wheelers, in order to get to and from the appointments. Oh joy! but not much.
But, friends and neighbors, mine is over for another year!!! Yea!!
