Bluebird (Acrylics) Daily Art and Writing 04-21-2017

The plan:  Create one small piece of art several days a week for 3 months and post a photo of the art along with commentary or correlated literature on my blog, Daddy's Roses.
The goal: To nurture my creativity and develop artistic and literary skills.
The supposition:  Most days I will paint with acrylic paints.

When the spent sun throws up its rays on cloud
And goes down burning into the gulf below,
At what has happened.
No voice in nature is heard to cry aloud
Birds, at least must know
It is the change to darkness in the sky.
Murmuring something quiet in her breast,
One bird begins to close a faded eye;
Hurrying low above the grove, some waif
Or overtaken too far from his nest,
Swoops just in time to his remembered tree.
At most he thinks or twitters softly, 'Safe!
Now let the night be dark for all of me.
Let the night bee too dark for me to see
Into the future.
Let what will be, be.
