Athens and Corinth

Today we plan to visit the Acropolis and see some of the important monuments there: the Propylaea, the Parthenon, and the Erectheum. We will visit Mars Hill and walk among the ruins of the Agora, the ancient marketplace. We will visit the Olympic Stadium, where the ancient Olympics began and where they returned in 2004. We will travel the 50 miles to Corinth (Acts 18:1-18) and visit, among other places, the Archeological Museum there. Tonight we will return to Athens and board our ship, the Astoria to begin the journey to Rome (retracing the Apostle Paul's trip as a prisoner.)
